The Green Party of the United States is recognized by the Federal Elections Commission, and is a partner of the European Federation of Green Parties and the Federation of Green Parties of the Americas. In 2008 it became possible to register on State registration forms as a member of the Iowa Green Party. We need your help to maintain our presence on state ballots in future elections and to elect our dedicated candidates. In addition to officially registering, to let us know of your interest, please complete the membership form , or send an e-letter to our secretary Holly Hart, at hhart11@gmail.com.

 Matthew Wetstein, a volunteer with Better Ballot Iowa, has announced a new grassroots effort to adopt Ranked Choice Voting (RCV) in Iowa. They would like to invite the Iowa Green Party to join the statewide launch of our campaign for advancing Ranked Choice Voting, Thursday, March 18 at 7:30pm.
